“To inspire and unite individuals who are passionate about making a lasting impact - locally and globally - through service, connection, and leadership.”
The Rotary Club of Arlington is pleased to announce a Minority Business Awareness Program. This recognition will be extended to minority businesses in the city of Arlington that have demonstrated the core values of the 4-Way test through integrous leadership in business practices, community service and engagement.
Each year the Rotary Club of Arlington offers a book to every Webb Student.
Over two days each class is led into the school library and students choose their book. We then have them sign their name on a book plate, so everyone knows that this book is theirs to keep! I enjoyed my three hours there yesterday visiting with awesome, polite kids and dedicated teachers and staff at Webb Elementary.
will be officially celebrating its 100th Anniversary.
Centennial Committee members are hard at work
preparing for a great celebration.
Centennial Committee members Susie (Club President), Val (committee chair), Victoria (our president nominee), Hal Thurow (historian) and Kurt (our president elect) met recently to review some great club historical facts. The photo below shows our original Rotary International Charter. Also, shown in the photo above are Victoria and Hal are holding two bound volumes of our weekly newsletters that date back to 1947. We will be celebrating a rich history of community service in 2023.
