Claudia Perkins, a lifelong Arlington resident since 1960, is a proud graduate of Sam Houston High School and the University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned a journalism degree. She is the owner of Wild Horse Promotional Products, supporting nonprofits through marketing and promotional services. A Certified Prevention Specialist, Claudia also served nine years at Challenge of Tarrant County in drug and alcohol prevention. She currently serves as Vice Chairman of Arlington Urban Ministries, Vice President of the Arlington Historical Society, and board member for both the Arlington Independence Day Parade association and Texas Veterans Day Parade committee. She’s active in her church’s finance committee and helped establish Keep Bolivar Beautiful, reflecting her dedication to service both locally and on the Bolivar Peninsula. Claudia shares her life with her beloved rescued Doodle, Piper. Her sponsor is April Pettit and her mentor is Stephanie Melchert.
