Doing Good Around the World and In Our Neighborhood
YOU are making a difference in this world through our club's foundation! Our foundation dollars make a huge impact! Join the conversation on this topic!!
As Rotarians, WE celebrate the good WE do because recognizing service inspires even greater service. Every project WE complete, every person WE help, and every life WE touch represents the power of people coming together to make a difference. Celebrating these accomplishments is not about seeking recognition; it is about acknowledging the positive impact that service can have on individuals, families, and communities.
When WE share stories of success, WE demonstrate that Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, is more than just a phrase—it is a way of life. Whether WE are supporting local schools, feeding families in need, mentoring young people, improving our environment, or contributing to global initiatives such as eradicating polio through Rotary International, our efforts create meaningful change. Celebrating these achievements reminds us that our time, talents, and resources truly matter.
Recognition also strengthens our fellowship. When WE honor the dedication of fellow Rotarians and volunteers, WE encourage continued involvement and build stronger relationships within our clubs. Seeing the results of our collective efforts motivates members to remain engaged and inspires others to join us in service.
Beyond our local communities, celebrating Rotary’s impact helps raise awareness of our work done around the world. From providing clean water and promoting peace to supporting education and improving health outcomes, WE are addressing some of humanity’s greatest challenges. Sharing these successes demonstrates that ordinary people working together can accomplish extraordinary things.
As a Rotarian, I believe it is important to celebrate the good WE do because it reflects the values WE cherish, inspires future service, and reminds us that even small acts of kindness can create lasting change. By celebrating our achievements, WE honor those WE serve and renew our commitment to making our community—and our world—a better place.
Club Vision Statement: “To inspire and unite individuals who are passionate about making a lasting impact, both locally and globally, through service, connection and leadership.”
