I am deeply saddened by the loss of Jean Hood. She was a wonderful colleague and dear friend. Jean was courageous, smart, deeply caring and contributed in many ways, seen and unseen, to the progress achieved at UTA during her tenure. I was also inspired by her commitment to and leadership in Rotary. She lived her life to the fullest to the very end.
To me, Jean was an unsung hero whose professional expertise and deep commitment to protecting and providing opportunities for UTA faculty and staff are immeasurable. I couldn’t have done my job without her!
I will miss Jean.
