Maggie Campbell is an entrepreneurial leader with a 30+ year history of leading downtown revitalization programs in both large and small cities. Maggie is passionate about making cities better places, and she currently serves as the President and CEO of the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation in Arlington, Texas (where she previously served as its first President from 2006 – 2009). Ms. Campbell most recently worked for MIG, Inc., a nationally-known planning, design and communications firm based in California.

Ms. Campbell’s early career experience included work with the National Main Street Program in Texas, Oklahoma and Mississippi. While in Mississippi, she worked for the Mayor’s Office with the City of Jackson to help develop their new downtown organization.  Ms. Campbell then served as the Events Manager for Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. helping produce major events and festivals such as the MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Fest and The Parade of Lights. Other downtown organizations that Ms. Campbell has led include the West End District in Dallas, TX, Downtown St. Louis, MO, and the award-winning Old Pasadena District in Pasadena, CA. 

Ms. Campbell has a BA in History from the University of Texas at Austin, has two grown children, and is active in the International Downtown Association and the Urban Land Institute.
