Jeff Whitfield is a partner with Kelly Hart & Hallman in Fort Worth, Texas.  He represents individuals and entities facing a wide variety of legal and policy challenges.

Jeff is also a committed community servant.  He is the former Chair of Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans, which provides free legal services to veterans.  As a Rotary Peace Fellow, he speaks frequently on Rotary’s role in promoting peace here and abroad.

Before entering private practice, Jeff assisted the Prosecutor at the United Nations War Crimes Tribunal, in the Hague, Netherlands with the prosecution of those responsible for the genocide at Srebrenica.  He then served as a law clerk to a federal appeals court judge.

Jeff received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law while also working as a legislative aide to a Texas State Senator.  Before law school, he was a Fulbright Scholar and Rotary Peace Fellow in England.  He is a Distinguished Graduate from the U.S. Air Force Academy and served as an Air Force Officer on Active Duty.

Jeff and his wife, Shelly, both grew up in the Mid-Cities, and are proud to be raising their son, Knox (seven years old), in the community they love.
