Going Off the Grid Over 40

Meeting will be held at Shady Valley Country Club at noon

A Rotarian since 2009 and current President of the Rotary Club of Fort Worth.  Service above Self is what initially attracted her to become a Rotarian and continues to love the mission of Rotary and loves to visit clubs around the world whenever she can.

As Principal and Shareholder for Arcturis, Rachel uses her leadership skills in strategic planning, programming, project management, team development, and operational expertise to assure clients that their overall needs, project vision, and expectations are exceeded.  With over 20+ years’ experience in all aspects of the Commercial Architectural, Engineering, and Construction Industry, nationally and internationally, Rachel cultivates client relationships and leads operations in the Texas markets and has responsibilities on a National basis.

Between 2014-2015, Marker embarked on a cultural immersion journey around the world, during which time she proved the theory you can work and live anywhere in the world.  She has traveled to all 7 continents and 60 countries to date within a 500-day time period on a $100 day budget, with her husband Steve, 2 backpacks, her business, and a sense of adventure.   She often talks to other Rotary Clubs and organizations about it’s never too late to make a dream come true.  Set a date and be prepared for your world to change.
