"Software that Sees: How Perceptual Computing will Change Lives for People with Disabilities"
Chris McMurrough is a Distinguished Senior Lecturer and Director of the Senior Design Program in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at UTA. He is also Co-Founder of Cloud 9 Perception, an industrial robotics & computer vision startup company in downtown Arlington. He is a member of several community organizations, such as the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation Citizen’s Advisory Board, Rotary Club of Arlington, and Young Men for Arlington. Chris’s wife, Sarah, is a teacher at J. B. Little Elementary School, where his son Danny is a kindergartner. In his spare time, he works on projects in his garage and also enjoys outdoor activities and travel.
