The Explore More Challenge for Kids
Jenna Audlin is a student, naturalist, and educator with a passion for connecting people to the outdoors. Her journey began at the River Legacy Nature Center, where she began attending summer nature programs from the age of 3. She is the author and creator of The Explore More Challenge, a series of outdoor activity books designed for young explorers and their families.
Jenna believes that everyone deserves access to meaningful outdoor experiences. Her work centers on equity and accessibility in environmentalism, making nature exploration welcome and achievable for anyone, anywhere.
As an environmental education student at Warren Wilson College, Jenna studies how people learn from and engage with the natural world. Her academic and creative work bridges the environment, storytelling, and community, weaving together ecological understanding with a love of play and discovery.
Jenna can usually be found wandering through the woods looking for critters, or playing guitar around the campfire.
Through The Explore More Challenge and her broader educational projects, Jenna’s mission is to inspire people to explore more, learn more, and care more about the natural world.
