Blue Badge Requirements (updated March 1, 2024)
The purpose of the Red Badge Program is to provide a quick way to gain familiarity with club activities, learn more about Rotary, get to know as many members as possible, and to become active in the club community.
Required Activities
These seven (7) activities are required:
• Previously attended a New Member Orientation
• Serve as a greeter for two (2) regular club meetings
• Attend a monthly club board meeting
• Meet with your assigned mentor outside of a regular Rotary Club meeting
• Prepare a biography for The Hubcap AND/OR give a Classification Talk
• Be a Club Member in good standing
• Create your MyRotary account in Club Runner
Additional Requirements
Complete at least three (3) of the following:
• Volunteer for the Prayer and/or Pledge of Allegiance at a regular club meeting
• Attend another Rotary Club’s meeting or District 5790 function
• Bring a prospective member to a Rotary meeting
• Participate in a Club service project
• Attend a Club sponsored social event
• View the History of Rotary video
• Download Club Runner App to your mobile phone
Upon completion of the items above, and with an email to the Membership Director by your Mentor, you will be eligible to exchange your Red Badge for a Blue Badge.
