Probate and Guardianship

Judge Brooke Allen was appointed to serve as Judge of Probate Court No. 2 by the County Commissioners in 2016, and elected to serve a full term in 2018. In her almost 6 year tenure, she has streamlined the docket, reduced the Court’s budget by more than 5% saving taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars, and been a voice for keeping our Courts open during the pandemic. In addition, she has tried numerous jury trials in both probate and ancillary matters such as wrongful death, medical malpractice, and breach of fiduciary duty. When not in court, you might find Judge Allen on the court playing tennis or coaching the “Killer Puppies,” her daughter’s basketball team. She’s married to Cameron Allen, a sergeant with the Dallas Police Department.
