Theatre Arlington

Cathy O’Neal is the director of development for Theatre Arlington. She joined the staff in April after serving as the communications director and grant writer for Levitt Pavilion Arlington for 13 years, helping to shape and grow the organization dedicated to free music. She has a long history with Theatre Arlington from reviewing shows as arts and entertainment editor for the Arlington Citizen-Journal to serving as board chair and finally to being a stage manager for 15 years. Cathy is a UTA alum with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. In addition to Theatre Arlington, she has been a stage manager for Circle Theatre, Theatre Three, Kids Who Care and Uptown Players during her 22-year stage manager career. She is an at-large member of the Live Theater League of Tarrant County and a lifetime member of Girl Scouts. She’s also proud to say that she was a member of the team that got Arlington its Texas state-designated Arlington Cultural Arts District.
