DESCRIPTION:SAVE THE DATE! Our first Meals for Hope service project is plan
 ned to be held at The Oakridge School on Martin Luther King Jr. Day\, a sc
 hool holiday. Plan to join us as we package meals for local distribution. 
 Leighton Meitl\, an Oakridge student\, directed a similar event last year.
  She asked our club to sponsor this year's event. At the November meeting\
 , the board approved a sponsorship of $1\,000 plus a dollar for dollar mat
 ch on the next $7\,000 she raises\, for a total sponsorship of $8\,000. If
  Leighton reaches this goal\, we will package 15\,000 meals for distributi
 on to those facing food insecurity. This is the first year our club has sp
 onsored this event. We will be giving more details in the meetings to come
 .
